The new X-Men. How terrible would it be? Pretty unterrible, actually. The production value was very high and the story was well thought out. We discuss what we liked and didn't like and how it compared to the previos X-men movies. I will say that as i have looked at boxofficemojo.com, the numbers show that it clearly the worst performing of the four. And for the record my sweet wife stated that Michael F Assbender would make a great Bond and I totally agree.

You guys were grossing me out at the beginning of the podcast with all the old maxi pad grossness that used to go on. Blech! (that's me vomiting).
ReplyDeleteSo I think there were too many of you there this time. Sometimes I couldn't understand what was being said because you were all trying to talk over each other. I think you 4 with 1 guest sometimes is good enough.
ReplyDeleteOn X-men: I very much enjoyed it! I liked who all they cast with the exception of Kevin Bacon (I just don't feel like he fit...he's too well known and the rest aren't). I would give it an 8. Also, I think you guys are pigs by saying that mystique had big thighs. She was hot and none of you have room to judge...just saying (props to my husband for not agreeing with you tools).
Also, since you guys mentioned Wolverine...I could have absolutely loved it if they would have put some effort into the CGI on his claws!! I couldn't get past staring at that terribleness! Sabertooth was totally awesome though!!
